Eads Bridge Trolley Tour
Eads Bridge Trolley Tour
St. Louisans will celebrate the Eads Bridge at 150 years of use. Declared to be “Impractical and Impossible”, the Eads bridge still stands and is used daily. James Buchanan Eads, Chief Engineer, designed the bridge, but many others helped in its financing, opening, and maintenance. In this two-hour trolley tour, we will closely examine Eads, his bridge, other projects, and others who aided in making the vision real. Our trolley tours are from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. ♦ Seating is limited and tickets are required.♦ We ask that everyone arrive between 9:30 am and 9:45 am for a prompt 10:00 am departure.♦ The Trolley is climate controlled but weather-appropriate clothing is suggested as opportunities to disembark from the vehicle are available.♦ Trolley tour tickets are $5 each.
