Willow Patron $100

The Willow gates are our current main entrance on West Florissant Ave.  There are two builidngs currently in use as cemetery offices and visitor amenities.  Cemetery maps and information are available 8 am – 4:30 pm at our main office.

  • Priority reservations for Free Second Saturday Bus/Trolley Tours – 2 reservations per membership per tour, limited availability, first come first served

Amaranth Patron $250

Amaranth gate was once a grand entrance into the cemetery from Broadway.  Coach-and-fours and coach-and-sixes could manage the steep incline from the Amaranth Gatehouse up to the cemetery’s Prospect avenue also known as millionaires row.

  • Complimentary tour publication – stop in at the gatehouse office to pick up your choice of ‘Notable and Notorious Women’, ‘A journey Through History’, or “Civil War’ tour book

Hawthorn Patron $500

Hawthorn gate was another carriage entrance on the West Florissant Ave side of the cemetery.  In the 1930’s it was converted to accommodate vehicular traffic.

1849 Society $1,000

Bellefontaine cemetery was founded in 1849 as a part of the new rural cemetery movement.

Hotchkiss Society $2,500

Almerin Hotchkiss was the landscape architect hired to design the cemetery and became cemetery’s fist superintendent.

James E. Yeatman Society $5,000

James E. Yeatman was a founder and the first president of Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Corps of Discovery $10,000

William Clark, our most famous resident at the cemetery, helped to lead the Corps of Discovery Expedition that explored the upper Louisiana Territory to the Pacific coast.
