Obituary For Tyler Yvette Hayes
“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” -Matthew 5:8 KJV
Tyler Yvette Hayes, loving daughter of Bannon Hayes and Alana Lewis, passed away suddenly in her home on Monday, January 1, 2024.
Tyler was baptized at Halls Ferry Christian Church with her brother Noah on November 8th, 2015. She was a 2017 graduate of North County Christian School and a 2022 graduate of the University of Missouri St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in English. She worked for the Department of Mental Health for the State of Missouri.
Though she was quiet, (until she got to know you), Tyler had a warm and infectious smile combined with dimples that could brighten any room. Tyler's hobbies included gaming and music. She was an avid writer and passionate about creating new characters for her stories. Even naming her plant “Ellry”, stating that the name was a combination of gaming references.
Tyler is survived by many loving family members, including her mother, Alana (Paul) Lewis, her father Bannon Hayes, her brother Noah Hayes and sister Candra Jones, her “Goomah” Barbara Foster, as well as many aunts: Yvette (David) Holt, Tanya (James) Smith, Toi (Charles) Owens, Leunna, uncle Kyle, cousins Denise, Daniel, Philip, Audrey, Katelyn, Jonice, nephews Nolin and Thomasio. It was Tyler’s request that no services be held. She is buried at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
