Obituary For Shelley Nicole Albright

~ In Remembrance of ~ Shelley Nicole Albright

It is with our deep love that we gather to remember a lovely and beautiful member of our family, Shelley Nicole Albright, who passed away on April 8th, 2022.

Born December Seventeenth, 1984, an accomplished graduate of UMSL, (Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics), our loving daughter, sister, niece and cousin.

It is with a heavy, broken heart that we memorialize our sweet Shelley Nicole Albright. From her website designing, to her artwork & poetry, self-taught piano, she never ceased to amaze.

With her veritable green thumb, her beautiful flower beds, vegetable gardens and house plants flourished. As an avid animal lover and activist rescuer of all broken and abandoned, it seemed she didn't find these animals... they found her. The love she shared surrounded her in a natural glow, which extended to her family and the strays and plants she so tenderly took charge of.

Here is an haiku that barely skims the surface of how Shelley touched so many lives: She rescued stray pets Her love grew endless, like rain Her soul blooms like spring

Shelley Nicole is survived by her life partner, Andrew Holmes, her Mother, Anita Ingoldsby Albright, her father, Santo G. Albright, Sr., her Brother and Sister, Santo G. Albright, Jr and Shana Elizabeth Albright and her beloved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather, William Robert Ingoldsby and Grandmother, Antoinette Mae Johnson Ingoldsby, her half-sister Stacey Ann Christoff and her dearly beloved, never forgotten friend, Samantha Smiley.

Memorial Service held in the Rose Room at: Schrader Funeral Home Saturday, April 30th, 2022 Noon to 8 P.M. 14960 Manchester Rd. Ballwin, MO 63011 636-227-5511

Her beautiful green burial at: Bellefontaine Cemetery Sunday May 1st, 2022 11:00 A.M. 4947 W Florissant Ave. St. Louis, MO 63115 314-381-0750 (please park just inside front gates and there will be a procession to the burial plot)

I considered Shelley was one of my best friends growing up even though we weren't always in touch and eventually lost touch. We went to camp Pioneer together during the summer and then I had to move from Arnold to Manchester. Guess who was there at my new elementary school? She was my first friend there. Later, I remember her showing me how she trained her rat to go to the bathroom in the cat litter box. She was one of the smartest people I knew. Brilliant. I googled to see if I could find her and found this. I'm so sorry for your loss.
