Sarah Nicole (Stroup) Vezzoli
December 27, 1984 - May 11, 2024

Sarah Nicole (Stroup) Vezzoli, age 39, of Troy, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, May 11, 2024, with her husband and sister-in-law by her side.

Sarah was born on Dec. 27, 1984, in Belleville, Illinois. She spent most of her school years in Cahokia and graduated in 2003. On June 13, 2015, she married Jacob Vezzoli.

Sarah was a loving wife and mother who cherished her family deeply. From preparing meals with her husband to nightly video gaming sessions with him, Sarah treasured her rare and timeless bond with Jacob. Family nights with her children also brought her tremendous joy and comfort.

Sarah worked at C.A. Henning School, where she was affectionately known as the "nice" lunch lady. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of many students and colleagues.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jacob (Jake); their children, Tyler and Alleigh (Ash); her father, Randy, and his wife, Cathy; her mother, Theresa, and her husband, Eric; her brothers, Ryan and Jason; and her in-laws, Alfred, Brenda, and sister-in-law, Lisa.

Sarah fulfilled her wishes of becoming an organ donor and participating in a green cremation. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to honor her memory and the love she shared with those around her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Gateway Pet Guardians, in Sarah’s memory, to support a
cause close to her heart.
