Obituary For Pierre Sadaam Ndona Svoboda
Pierre Sadaam Ndona Svoboda was born in Bandundu, Congo, to his mother Bea. He spent his childhood goat herding, fishing, and hunting with his Grandpa and was raised by his beloved Grandmother Koko Emilie.
He came to the United States in 2006 for massive reconstructive surgery due to his severe scoliosis, and was adopted into the Svoboda family at that time.
Both in the Congo and in St. Louis, he faced some of the deepest challenges humans can face, and he experienced more people coming together to love and hold him than most. He found deep purpose in taking the pain he experienced and alchemizing it into his music and art. He was deeply motivated to write music that could inspire hope in himself and in others. He was a caretaker of humans, young and old. He had a natural inclination toward craftsmanship and was skilled at working with his hands. But more than anything, he was a dreamer.
He wrote of some of his dreams:
“My future career goal is to change this world, so kids can run around and have fun, and families can sit outside enjoying times together, where no one is afraid of being shot or kidnapped. I also want to start my own company and build houses for people on the street that have nowhere to go, and rescue people from all over the world who’ve been targeted for sex trafficking or child soldiering. I want to make the world a gang-free place. I want to share the love of God with others and work with kids who’ve been sexually, physically, or emotionally abused. I want to build churches around the world to help other countries. I want to help other people feel safe in this world, stop the wars going on all over the world, and make the world free of drugs and violence.”
The greatest joy of his life was his daughter, and the best years of his life were spent with Camiliana and her mother, Morgan.
The grand crisis of his life happened two years ago, when their daughter Gloriana passed away. Even though it was too much for him to recover from, he always believed that he would.
Pierre is survived by his immediate family,
Morgan Weatherall and Camiliana Svoboda.
His grandmother Koko Emilie.
His parents Charlie and Karla Svoboda.
His siblings Joseph, Abigail, Timothy, and Molly, and many more to whom he was a brother.
Pierre will share a gravestone with his Daughter Gloriana-Mirae Emilienne (March 16 - 26, 2024)
You can find his music online by the name CSTL Congo and can learn more about Pierre, in his own words, by watching a 2024 interview with him on YouTube called “The Old Mississippi Sound House Presents - CSTL Congo Beyond the Words.”
If you feel called, we are asking for contributions to his daughter’s savings account. Any amount helps: https://share.google/9CnSkhpne6QKcgrDt
