Obituary For Mary Ann Schultz

It is with love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Schultz, who left us peacefully on April 16th, 2025, at the age of 83.

Mary Ann was born on March 5, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Ernest and Mary Schneider. Known lovingly as "Nana," she was the heart and soul of every gathering. Her kitchen was always warm, her table always full, and her door always open. A passionate host and gifted cook, she created a home where everyone felt welcome and cherished. She especially loved the holidays and was known for throwing joyful caroling parties that brought music, laughter, and community to all who attended.

Mary Ann had a deep love for politics and art, never turning down a spirited conversation or the chance to admire creativity in all its forms. She also found joy in the simple pleasures - she loved fishing and cherished family vacations in Hilton Head, where some of her most treasured memories were made. And when the polka music played, her joy was infectious - she was always ready to dance. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, welcome, and joy - a life full of love, laughter, music, and memories that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Mary Ann is survived by her five sons: Rob, Scott (Lisa), Todd (Emily), Geoff (Michaela), and Zach (Natalie). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Georgia, Paul, Nick, Evelyn, Rosie, Cal, Betty, Phoebe, Lily, Lorelei, and Kit. She is also survived by her siblings Ernie (Patti), Rita, and Steve (Debbie). Mary Ann was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ernest and Mary, and her precious granddaughter Lucinda.
