Obituaries

Mark Stephen Fendler, 74, was taken home by Jesus on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Born July 17, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, Mark was a cherished husband, father, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. His life was defined by his love for family, his passion for nature, and his calming presence.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Lynn (née Kratzer), daughter, Josie (Nathan) Kenkel and siblings Ted (Laurie) Fendler, Sue (Andy) Talken and Jeanne (John) Warner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Josephine, and brothers Glenn (Diane) and Donald (Mary).

An intimate gathering and internment will be held at Bellefontaine Cemetery for close family and dear friends on January 22, 2026 at 1pm. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
