Obituary For Leila Boehm Blodgett

Leila Boehm Blodgett lovingly referred to as "Gabby" due to her gift of gab, will joyfully live on in the memories of her 6 children and their spouses, 17 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as an expert conversationalist, a lover of jokes, wordplay, and movies, her artistic talent with fabric, and a sense of style all her own.

A memorial in her honor will be held on March 5th, 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Manchester Park Building in Schroeder Park 359 Old Meramec Station Rd. Manchester, MO, 63021. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

    Gabby was an amazing mother-in-law, Mom and grandmother. I am so grateful she and Hank graciously welcomed me into the Blodgett family 15 years ago and could not have asked for better in-laws w/the extended family. Gabby was such an interesting, fascinating person and I always valued our conversations. And while this is a huge loss, I take peace knowing Gabby lived a full life and is now in a better place back by Hank's side.
