Barry M. Evans, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Katie (Phelps) Evans; cherished son of Donna and Tom Thurston and David Evans; devoted father of Jacob (Sara) Evans, Daniel (Olivia) Evans, Nathan (Kelsey) Evans; loving grandfather to Dyllan, Dodson, Wyatt, and Lillian; dear brother of Paul Evans, Kay (Kevin) Steineker, Beth (Joseph) Thomas, Lori (Robert) Turnbull, and Debbie (Jeff) Voight; uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

Barry poured his energy into his family and friends. He and his wife Katie spent ten years full of love and enjoyment together, exploring St. Louis and Chicago and traveling around the country. He went above and beyond the role of father by always making time for his three sons and providing so much love, appreciation, and guidance. Barry loved being a grandpa, aka “popcorn,” and created so much happiness with his grandchildren. He made friends wherever he went throughout his life and career. Barry fostered decades-long relationships and served as a mentor to many. He was a selfless individual who spent his time with his family and friends and was always eager to provide help. Barry’s warm and joyful spirit will be missed by all.

A celebration of life will be on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 3-7 p.m. at Quail Ridge Lodge 24 Columbine ln, Wentzville, MO 63385. The funeral services will be private.
