Sips, Souls, and Strolls: Steamship History We are excited to announce our the return of our popular Sips, Souls, and Strolls events! Enjoy a pleasant evening of light refreshments, beautiful surroundings, and a leisurely tour at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. From 5:30 - 7:30 pm on June 5, 17, and 25 you can explore Steamboat life. During the Golden Age of the River, St. Louis was a great hub of activity. The river was the nation's highway system and St. Louis was one of the most important ports in America. Find out about a few of the better than 140 captains, pilots, and owners landlocked at Bellefontaine Cemetery. Suggested donation of $10 We suggest a donation of $10 to help our nonprofit cover refreshment and marketing expenses. However, you can always donate later if you need.
