Enjoy a two-hour walk through the changing fall colors of the cemetery arboretum. Master Guides will share stories of the intriguing historic figures buried at Bellefontaine, as well as architectural highlights and horticulture features found throughout the walk. Dazzling colors and cooler temperatures make this time of the year a must to come visit. ♦ Space is limited and reservations are required ♦ Walking terrain is mild with a mixture of hard and soft surfaces ♦ Prepare for insects and wear appropriate outdoor walking attire ♦ We ask that everyone arrive between 15 to 20 minutes before tour time for a prompt departure ♦ This is a rain or shine event except in the case of extreme lightning Tours are free, however, donations to the Friends of Bellefontaine Cemetery are gratefully accepted. Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum is proud to participate in Historic Saint Louis' "A Spirited Holiday Past." Join us at the cemetery on December 1st for a self-guided journey with four stops, which include the Campbell House family lot and the Field House family lot. Seasonal beverages will be offered in our gatehouse as well as crafts and music at our chapel. This free holiday event will be something the whole family can enjoy!
