Arboretum Tour – Fall Tree Walk Join one of our Horticulturists for a stroll in Missouri’s first ArbNet Level III Accredited Arboretum. This tour will focus on Bellefontaine’s collection of about 10,000 trees and shrubs, representing nearly 600 distinct species, selections, and varieties. Learn more about what makes Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum an extraordinary horticulture treasure in St. Louis! Every horticulture tour is unique and will potentially cover different plants. Artist in Residence – 3rd Installation

Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum

Calling all art enthusiasts, aspiring artists, and anyone looking to add a touch of beauty to their day! Join us for a unique experience: Artist in Residence Final Installation at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum! We’re celebrating the culmination of our 2024 Artist in Residence program on Saturday, November 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cemetery in our beautiful Wildwood Valley Gardens. Charles Turnell, Bellefontaine’s 2024 Artist in Residence, will unveil art he is gifting to Bellefontaine, and will be on permanent display. Charles will unveil the final installation at 4:30 p.m., and then speak about the inspiration for his final installation, as well as his journey throughout his historic inaugural residency. We invite you to experience this historic occasion and engage with Charles throughout the event.  Light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP for this event.
