Caravan Tour Join us for a guided caravan tour! Follow along in your own car as we drive to four locations within the cemetery. Wildwood Valley is our first stop where flowers bloom from the spring until fall, and a famous doctor, a suffragist, and a cookbook author are buried nearby. Next, we’ll explore the mausoleums on Prospect and will be granted entry to the Wainwright Tomb and Lemp Mausoleum. William Clark’s plot is our third destination. The large monument is dedicated to his heroic efforts on the Voyage of Discovery. Horticulture Hike Join one of Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum’s horticulturalists for a walking tour exploring the natural areas on the east side of the property. From meadow to a forest, this tour will explore native plants and plant communities and discuss the natural history of BCA and the surrounding region. We will also talk about the value of restoring native areas and their impact on wildlife. Be prepared to walk on uneven terrain with moderate slopes. Upon arrival to 4947 W. Florissant Ave, a greeter will give parking and meeting instructions. Please arrive 30 minutes early for a prompt departure. The tour will begin at 9:00 a.m. sharp!
