Tenth Annual Historic Beer Barons TourSaturday, September 25, & Sunday, September 26, 2021 The final resting places of many of the early St. Louis beer barons such as Uhrig, Lemp, Wainwright, Anheuser, Busch, and Griesedieck can be found at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. Their monuments speak of family fortunes won and lost, and how legacies intertwined as breweries merged, burned, closed, and re-opened. 2021 marks our Historic Beer Barons Tour’s tenth year! Spend a relaxing afternoon outdoors in Wildwood Valley Gardens with music, local beer, wine, and refreshments.  Enjoy stories of St. Louis’ Beer Heritage from Cameron Collins and Chris Nafsinger. Stroll at your leisure through Wildwood Valley’s fall colors or join a tour lead by our Horticulturists. Proceeds from the Beer Barons tour benefit the cemetery’s efforts in conservation, education, and community programming. DETAILS Wristbands are your ticket to the tasting tent. They will be mailed to you prior to the event.
