Horticulture Walking Tours Join one of Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretums horticulturalists for a walking tour. This stroll through the cemetery will focus on trees, shrubs, and flowering plants. Be prepared to walk on uneven terrain with moderate slopes. All tours will meet at the cemetery entrance gatehouse and depart at 10 a.m. promptly. Please arrive 30 minutes early. Trolley Tour

Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum

This two-hour trolley tour will be led by one of our Volunteer Master Guides who will convey highlights of the cemetery grounds, horticulture and a variety of intriguing historic figures who now rest at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. ♦ Seating is limited and tickets are required. ♦ We ask that everyone arrive between 9:30 am and 9:45 am for a prompt 10:00 am departure. ♦ The Trolley is climate controlled but weather-appropriate clothing is suggested as opportunities to disembark from the vehicle are available. ♦ Trolley tour tickets are $5 each.   REGISTER NOW!   MAKE A GIFT Donations to the Friends of Bellefontaine Cemetery are gratefully accepted. Sunset Strolls – SOLD OUT!

Join us for the last of our “Sunset Strolls” through Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum for the 2021 season! In the months of June, July, and August we offer a two-hour walking tour of the cemetery and arboretum in the cooling hours before sunset. This tour will be led by one of the cemetery’s Master Guides who will convey highlights of the cemetery grounds, horticulture and a variety of intriguing historic figures who call Bellefontaine their final place of rest. ♦ A limited number of registrations for the tour are available so reservations are required. ♦ Two-hour walking tours cover about 2 miles across moderate terrain. ♦ Please wear appropriate summer walking attire. ♦ We ask that everyone arrive between 15 to 20 minutes before tour time for a prompt departure. ♦ Tours are free however donations to the Friends of Bellefontaine Cemetery are gratefully accepted.
