Genealogy I: Missouri Genealogy Basics – Attendees will be introduced to the Missouri State Archives and both its on-site and online resources, with an emphasis on research involving vital records and those of county government.

Records Digitization (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) on Jan. 16 Records Digitization – Attendees will learn about project selection and planning, metadata creation and management, document and photograph scanning standards, various file types and their uses, and file format migration strategies. You are encouraged to bring your own lunch to this event.
