Join Yoga Buzz and learn why Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum is one of the “hidden gems” of St. Louis. Unroll your mats for an intimate 1-hour, all-levels yoga practice in the historic Hotchkiss Chapel (beginners welcome). Then, we will bundle up for a walking tour that highlights early St. Louis History. (Don’t worry, if it’s too chilly we’ll stay within the warmth of the chapel for info and discussion of the same topic.)
The grounds of Bellefontaine are 314 acres of horticulture, architecture, art, history, and wildlife – we cannot wait to explore them with you! Stay tuned for more events at this location! Tickets are $15 and include yoga and walking tour. Please bring a yoga mat or towel if you have one. A small number will be available first come / first serve.
Attendees will arrive via main entrance at 4947 W. Florissant Ave. Once inside the gate attendees should follow white signs with ‘green’ arrows to the event location. Parking located at Hotchkiss Chapel.
A Word on Accessibility
Each of our events are held in unique locations. We do our best to make them as accessible as possible, and we hope these notes are useful in clarifying expectations about our yoga venues. We know that not all of our event locations will meet the needs of every individual. If there is ever any question, concern, or any additional assistance you need in order to feel supported at one of our events, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to request an assistant, sign language interpreter, or other one-on-one support, please give us one week’s notice to accommodate. If you have a caregiver or an assistant who you would like to bring with you, please let us know in advance. Please do not hesitate to reach out if we may offer any assistance not named.
If you have any specific needs, concerns, injuries, or limitations, please let us know either via email in advance, or connect with the teacher directly before the class begins.
