“Told in Stone: Bellefontaine Cemetery Iconology”

The staggering array of motifs, carvings, statues, and monuments at Bellefontaine Cemetery can be overwhelming. Most of them, however, were not put there on a whim. Instead, they were carefully chosen; usually in an attempt to commemorate and reflect the thinking of the deceased. This trolley tour will address the language of the stones, to read and listen to the stories they have to tell us and is led by Master Guide Jon. Reservations required as seats are limited.
