Horticulture Hike – Lewis and Clark Garden and Natural Areas
October 4 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Join one of Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum’s horticulturalists for a walking tour exploring the newly opened Lewis and Clark Garden off the northeast corner of the property. This newly dedicated garden contains many plant species notated within the Corps of Discovery Expedition (1803-1806) and its contributions and study of natural history. From meadow to forest, this tour will also explore native plants and plant communities and discuss the natural history of BCA and the surrounding region. Be prepared to walk on uneven terrain with moderate slopes.
