Coyote Crawl 5K and Head for the Hills 10K Run/Walk

November 13, 2021 @ 7:45 am 12:00 pm

Bellefontaine Cemetery’s 1st Annual Coyote Crawl 5K & Head for the Hills 10K

We are excited to announce our first annual Coyote Crawl 5K and Head for the Hills 10K on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Enjoy a walk or run through Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum’s 314 acres during the cooler temperatures of fall. The rolling hills of Bellefontaine will allow a greater appreciation of the 87,000 lives memorialized throughout the oldest Garden Cemetery west of the Mississippi.
Founded in 1849, Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum has been the final resting place for many of St. Louis’s notable figures, including William Clark, Adolphus Busch, and the Lemp Family. You will find celebrated architecture such as the Wainwright Mausoleum, Hotchkiss Chapel, and the ‘Girl in the Glass Box’ nestled along our 14 miles of roadway. A diverse collection of over 9,000 trees and shrub varieties dot the landscape, making an enjoyable run/walk through history and nature.
There are two ways to participate: in-person or virtual.
