Civil War Walking Tour

Your three-hour walk with Guides Dave and Dan will explore individuals with north and southern leanings. Bellefontaine Cemetery has a perspective of the Civil War years seldom found throughout the states. Explore the beginning with the ‘Camp Jackson’ affair, the south with Generals; Sterling Price and Alexander Peter Stewart, the north including Generals; John Pope and Andrew Jackson Smith.
♦ Space is limited and reservations are required
♦ Walking terrain is mild with a mixture of hard and soft surfaces
♦ Please wear appropriate outdoor walking attire
♦ We ask that everyone arrive 15 to 20 minutes before tour time for a prompt departure
♦ This is a rain or shine event except in the case of extreme lightning
The tour is free, however, donations to the Friends of Bellefontaine Cemetery are gratefully accepted.
