Bellefontaine is filled with remarkable imagery and monumentation, much of which reveals clues about lives and times of the people they honor. Led by Master Guide Tom Allen, this 2-hour walking tour will focus on the unique sculptures and mysterious messages found in the iconography of Bellefontaine Cemetery’s historic markers and monuments. Tom will also share stories of the artists, benefactors and models associated with these works of art.
The tour will gather at Willow Gate House to organize, then caravan through the cemetery to park at Bellefontaine’s Wild Wood Valley Gardens.
