Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum is a proud sponsor of Beyond the Ballot: St. Louis and Suffrage, a new, 6,000-square-feet special exhibit at the Missouri History Museum. Beyond the Ballot showcases the individual stories of diverse, influential women who broke barriers and fought for a voice from the colonial period through the women’s suffrage movement and up to modern-day. Of the 32 women featured at this exhibit, 14 are memorialized here at Bellefontaine Cemetery.
