Join Us at Our 10th Annual Historic Beer Barons Tour

SATURDAY'S EVENT IS SOLD OUT! SUNDAY'S EVENT TICKET SALES ARE ON SALE THROUGH THURSDAY, 09/23 AT 5 P.M.

The final resting places of many of the early St. Louis beer barons such as Uhrig, Lemp, Wainwright, Anheuser, Busch, and Griesedieck can be found at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. Their monuments speak of family fortunes won and lost, and how legacies intertwined as breweries merged, burned, closed, and re-opened.

2021 marks our Historic Beer Barons Tour’s tenth year! Spend a relaxing afternoon outdoors in Wildwood Valley Gardens with music, local beer, wine, and refreshments.  Enjoy stories of St. Louis’ Beer Heritage from Cameron Collins and Chris Nafsinger. Stroll at your leisure through Wildwood Valley’s fall colors or join a tour lead by our Horticulturists.

Proceeds from the Beer Barons tour benefit the cemetery’s efforts in conservation, education, and community programming.

• Wristbands are your ticket to the tasting tent. They will be mailed to you prior to the event.

• Taster Level ($40) wristbands include
  • Tasting glass
  • Food and Drinks 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm
  • Tour video and speakers: Access to view an exclusive video tour shown during the event and watch re-enactors sharing the stories of some of the notable brewers laid to rest at Bellefontaine Cemetery
  • NO Trolley Tour and no merchandise are included with this level.

• Barons Level ($100) wristbands include
  • Tasting glass
  • Food and Drinks 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm
  • Tour video and speakers: Access to view an exclusive video tour shown during the event and watch re-enactors sharing the stories of some of the notable brewers laid to rest at Bellefontaine Cemetery
  • 30-minute guided trolley tour that includes access inside of the Lemp and Wainwright mausoleums
  • 10^th Anniversary T-shirt and tankard
