2023 Barons of Beer & Baseball, St. Louis Legacy Tour

Join us on Saturday and Sunday, June 10 and 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for an exciting reimagining of our incomparable Beer Barons event, Barons of Beer and Baseball St. Louis Legacy Tour! Recognizing that beer and baseball are quintessential St. Louis summer pastimes, we are offering a peek at the pre-Prohibition brewers and characters that formed our modern-day baseball obsession. Learn about bar owners who became team owners, strike-out pitchers who made history, and record-setting players while touring our beautiful grounds, tasting samples from local brewers who have turned their passion for beer into a tasty business, and enjoying local cuisine.

This event is from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. You can arrive any time during the event to sample beverages for the duration of the event!

Proceeds from this event benefit the cemetery’s efforts in conservation, education, and community programming.

EVENT DETAILS

• Wristbands are your ticket to the tasting tent. You can pick these up at the event check-in table. All tours are timed.

• Taster Level ($50) wristbands include
  • Admission to the tasting tent, with beer and wine sampling from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and one (1) meal per guest. (Catering by Steve’s Hot Dogs).
  • Small, souvenir tasting glass.
  • 1-hour bus tour of Bellefontaine Cemetery residents that contributed to the early success of brewing beer and baseball in St. Louis.

• Barons Level ($75) wristbands include
  • Admission to the tasting tent, with beer and wine sampling from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and one (1) meal per guest. (Catering by Steve’s Hot Dogs).
  • Small, souvenir tasting glass.
