Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum is a proud sponsor of Beyond the Ballot: St. Louis and Suffrage, a new, 6,000-square-feet special exhibit at the Missouri History Museum. Beyond the Ballot showcases the individual stories of diverse, influential women who broke barriers and fought for a voice from the colonial period through the women’s suffrage movement and up to modern-day. Of the 32 women featured at this exhibit, 14 are memorialized here at Bellefontaine Cemetery. Download our map to visit the memorialization sites for each of these women.
The Beyond the Ballot exhibit at the Missouri History Museum is free to the public but requires a reservation for admission.
