Funeral Services at Bellefontaine Cemetery

Did you know that Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum is a licensed funeral establishment? Bellefontaine Cemetery can provide funeral home services for families or individuals choosing green burial, conventional cremation, and flameless cremation. In other words, our green burial and cremation families may work directly with us instead of employing an outside funeral home.

Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum is a non-profit cemetery open to all who choose to make our cemetery their final resting place. We have the expertise and compassion needed to ensure your wishes are flawlessly carried out. Since our founding in 1849, more than 87,000 interments have occurred on our 314 beautifully-maintained acres. With over 9,000 trees and woody plant species, the grounds and expansive gardens offer a park-like setting for families and visitors to enjoy while paying tribute to loved ones. We continue to provide burial services as envisioned by our founders but in tune with today’s societal needs and wishes.
