Literature Event and Tour—The Lemps

AUTHOR TALK & PRIVATE TOUR: STEPHEN P. WALKER and the LEMP MAUSOLEUM
Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum welcomes author Stephen P. Walker on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
Stephen will discuss the history of the Lemp family of St. Louis, including their once vast brewing empire, their tragic family history, and the elegant mansion they left behind. Stephen’s book was the first ever written on the Lemps, and this year marks its 35th year in publication. Stephen will be available for a question and answer session and book signing following his presentation. Afterward, one of Bellefontaine Cemetery’s master guides will take attendees on a tour of the Lemp family mausoleum.
This author talk will be held at the Historic Hotchkiss Chapel inside Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. Once you arrive at Bellefontaine Cemetery at 4947 W. Florissant, please follow the directional signage to Hotchkiss Chapel. Following the author talk, the private tour will happen at the Lemp family mausoleum.
