Beyond the Gates – Art, Artists, Sculpture and Architecture

The buildings, mausoleums, and monuments at Bellefontaine Cemetery reflect a variety of influences, from classical revival and Romanesque styles to Gothic and Egyptian revival—and even some forms of modern architecture. Learn about some of the most famous burial plots at Bellefontaine, including the Wainwright Tomb, the Tate Mausoleum, and the Hotchkiss Chapel. This class will be led by Dan Fuller.

The class is presented in cooperation with the St. Louis Community College Continuing Education Department.
