Join us at Hotchkiss Chapel for a one hour presentation focused on the history of African Americans interred at Bellefontiane.
We’ll discuss historic figures such as Rev. John Richard Anderson and John Berry Meachum as well as how Free People of Color and Slaves alike came to rest at Bellefontaine. Following the presentation, attendees are invited to caravan to a handful of grave sites highlighted durring the talk.
Plan to arrive at 1:15 or earlier to allow for a prompt start at 1:30 pm.
