Join Us at Our 8th Annual Historic Beer Barons Tour

The final resting places of many of the early St. Louis beer barons such as Uhrig, Lemp, Wainwright, Anheuser, Busch, and Griesedieck can be found at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. Their monuments speak of family fortunes won and lost, and how legacies intertwined as breweries merged, burned, closed, and re-opened.

Have a relaxing afternoon outdoors in Wildwood Valley Gardens with music, local beer, wine, and refreshments.  Enjoy the stories of St. Louis’ Beer Heritage during the bus tours.  Our staff horticulturists will also be giving tours of Wildwood Valley Gardens.

Proceeds from the Beer Barons tour benefit the cemetery’s efforts in conservation, education, and community programming.

DETAILS

• Wristbands are your ticket to the tasting tent and bus tour. They will be mailed to you prior to the event.
• The tasting tent will be open from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for all ticketholders to enjoy food and drinks!
• Bus tours of the Baron’s memorial sites are scheduled from 2:10 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Your bus tour time will be dictated by what ticket level, day, and time you select when purchasing tickets.
• Join a Wildwood Valley Horticulture Walking Tour by signing up the day of the event.

RESTRICTIONS

• Pets are not allowed at this event.
• All attendees must be 21 or over.
  • EXCEPTION – Infants in strollers are allowed, however, room on the busses is limited. Strollers may not fit on the tour bus so your infant may need to sit on your lap during your bus tour. Strollers can be checked in at our merchandise table.

TASTERS LEVEL TICKETS – $40 EACH

• Admission to the tasting tent 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
• 4 oz tasting glass
• 45-minute cemetery bus tour

BARONS LEVEL TICKETS – $65 EACH

• Admission to the tasting tent 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
• 4 oz tasting glass
• 1-hour bus tour with entry to two mausoleums
• Beer Barons VIII logo shirt
• BCA string backpack
