SUMMARY:St. Louis Mayors - Zoom Presentation
DESCRIPTION:Mayors of St. Louis Memorialized at Bellefontaine Cemetery\n\nThe mayor of St. Louis is the chief executive officer of St. Louis’s city government.  Forty-seven people have held the office\, four of whom—William Carr Lane\, John Fletcher Darby\, John Wimer\, and John How—served non-consecutive terms. \nTwenty-one of these 47 mayors have been laid to rest at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum.  Some of these mayors held other political offices of our state; others fulfilled duties for other territories.  Many had essential roles outside of politics\, which aided in developing the city\, the region\, and the state.  All their stories interweave to give a background of St. Louis’s development. \nSign up now for this free 50-minute Zoom presentation. \n\n\nREGISTER NOW!\n  \n\nMAKE A GIFT\n\nThese video presentations are free. SUMMARY:Beer Barons 10 Virtual Ticket
DESCRIPTION:  \n2021 marks our Historic Beer Barons Tour’s tenth year! \nLast year our virtual tour allowed our far away Friends an opportunity to join the celebration. The virtual tour returns in 2021. You can support the cemetery’s conservation\, education\, and community programming efforts with a purchase of the Tenth Anniversary Virtual Tour for $20. Watch the video whenever you would like—at any time on any day! \nThe final resting places of many of the early St. Louis beer barons such as Uhrig\, Lemp\, Wainwright\, Anheuser\, Busch\, and Griesedieck can be found at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. Their monuments speak of family fortunes won and lost and how legacies intertwined as breweries merged\, burned\, closed\, and re-opened. We have created this event to share their stories and celebrate the new and emerging craft beer movement in our community. \nYou can support the cemetery’s conservation\, education\, and community programming efforts with a purchase of the 10th Anniversary Beer Barons Tour video edition. This offer is only available through December 31st\, 2021. Purchase a virtual ticket online now!  \nGet your virtual ticket here: \nBUY A VIRTUAL PASS\n  \nPlease note\, this is NOT an all-day event and the video does not have to be watched on Dec. 31\, 2021. It’s only listed on the calendar view that way so that an event could be created. This offer expires on Dec. 31\, 2021\, at midnight so buy your virtual pass now!
