Unroll your mats for an intimate 1-hour\, all-levels yoga practice in the historic Hotchkiss Chapel (beginners welcome). Then\, we will bundle up for a walking tour that highlights early St. Louis History. (Don’t worry\, if it’s too chilly we’ll stay within the warmth of the chapel for info and discussion of the same topic.) \nThe grounds of Bellefontaine are 314 acres of horticulture\, architecture\, art\, history\, and wildlife – we cannot wait to explore them with you! Stay tuned for more events at this location! Tickets are $15 and include yoga and walking tour. Please bring a yoga mat or towel if you have one. A small number will be available first come / first serve. \nAttendees will arrive via main entrance at 4947 W. Florissant Ave. Once inside the gate attendees should follow white signs with ‘green’ arrows to the event location. Parking located at Hotchkiss Chapel. \nA Word on Accessibility \nEach of our events are held in unique locations. We do our best to make them as accessible as possible\, and we hope these notes are useful in clarifying expectations about our yoga venues. We know that not all of our event locations will meet the needs of every individual. SUMMARY:Fox Trot 5K Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:Founded in 1849\, Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum has been the final resting place for many of St. Louis’s notable figures including William Clark\, Adolphus Busch\, and the Lemp Family.  Celebrated architecture such as the Wainwright Mausoleum\, Hotchkiss Chapel\, and the ‘Girl in the Glass Box’ can also be found on the grounds. The cemetery has a diverse collection of over 7\,000 trees and shrub varieties in its arboretum making an enjoyable run/walk through history and nature. \nThe Fox Trot is a nod to our resident foxes who\, according to some Native American Traditions\, represent the spirit of one’s ancestors when seen on a burial ground. \nCheck-in 7:45 AM – 8:30 AM\nFree pre-race stretch with Yoga Buzz 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM\nRace starts at 8:35 AM\nShirt sizes avaialble : Mens S-4XL\, Women’s S-3XL\n \n$30 for Adults age 16+ – Registration with Shirt\n$20 for Youth 15 and under – Registration with Shirt\n$10 for Registration only \nRESTRICTIONS: For the safety of Fox Trot participants bicycles and pets on leashes are not permitted in the race. \nProceeds from the run benefit the cemetery’s community support programs like the Garden of Angels and educational tours.
