William Lewis Sublette
1799–1845
Fur Trader

This fur trader and merchant was born in Kentucky but grew up in St. Charles, Missouri. He left Missouri in 1822 to become a trapper and later became a partner of Robert Campbell in the Rocky Mountain Fur Trading Co.
